Value Added Measure

KS5 Value Added (VA) measures the progress students make from Key Stage 4 (GCSEs) to the end of Key Stage 5 (A-Levels/Applied General) compared to national peers with similar starting points. It acts as a performance indicator for schools, assessing if students achieved higher (+), lower (-), or similar (0) grades than expected.
