King's Group Academies

We work with a number of local providers to provide enrichment activities for all students and alternative provision for those in need of additional support.

Ufton Court

We enormously value our relationship with Ufton Court Educational Trust, an innovative charity that aims to change children’s lives through challenging and inspirational learning outside the classroom. From the exceptional house and grounds of Ufton Court in Berkshire, they aim to raise aspiration and attainment of all children and in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and we are exceptionally proud to be associated with them.

Our relationship with Ufton Court continues with additional day and residential visits, including weekend revision trips in Year 11.

Rushall Farm

We are also regular visitors to Rushall Farm.

In Year 7, we run a very successful ‘Resilience and Confidence’ programme, involving weekly visits to the farm, aimed at supporting those students who have found the transfer to secondary school most challenging, enabling them to gain in confidence and settle into their new school.

Rushall Farm is also the base for our very successful Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions.

Reading FC Community Trust

Through the medium of football, we work closely with Reading FC Community Trust to provide challenge and opportunities to groups of students throughout the year.

Reading Football Club’s Community Trust represents Reading FC within the local and surrounding communities, acting as an extension of the club to engage with local people and make a genuine impact on their lives.

The Trust’s motto is “Care, Develop, and Educate” – neatly encapsulating the aims of their work in the local and surrounding communities, highlighting the advantages of young people leading healthy, active and socially inclusive lifestyles.
