We are preparing students to be global citizens, but equally we are very much part of our local community. We have links to organisation across Reading and West Berkshire to support both students and their families.
As a school, we are at the heart of our local community, and benefit from seeing our students every day, in a way that other professionals and agencies do not. This means we are best placed to be able to provide ‘first aid’ support, but we recognise that sometimes students and their families need more specialised support.
We work closely with a number of external agencies in order to provide this support. We try to work collaboratively with families and often act as conduit between different agencies.
Nevertheless, if we believe a student is at risk, we will always follow our safeguarding procedures.
