Design Technology provides all students with the understanding, thinking and practical skills to design and make products that will solve a variety of complex problems. The subject asks students to be innovative and poses challenges outside of their core curriculum despite the various and clear cross-curricular links. The vocational element of Design Technology allows students to explore and learn skills that can be used post education.
